Description

The Furry Skunk Tassel Toy is an excellent toy for dogs that are hesitant to tug—skunk hide is a soft leather and fur, but not quite as soft as bunny—and it has a jackpot pouch that you can fill with treats or a squeaker.

The outside of the pouch is covered with skunk fur and has a tassel sewn into the bottom of the toy for some extra action. The inner pouch is made from 1000 Denier nylon cloth to make it easier to clean out, and it is sealed with Velcro. Two off-set nylon tabs make the pouch easy to open. The fleece handle is a reinforced three-way braid with a 200 lb. test line woven inside; this handle is very comfortable for tugging. The size of the pouch is 6"L x 3"H and the tassel is approximately 4" long.

• The hides used to make this toy comes from Wyoming and Wisconsin. The hides are tanned using lime, salt, baking soda and/or ammonium alum, making a safe and attractive toy.
